Death of Lady Keswick, mother of Sir Chips, aged 98

_.Lady Keswick, who died 8 July, 2009, aged 98, was the widow of Sir William Johnston Keswick (1903-1990). She was born Mary Etheldreda Lindley, in 1911, a dau of the Rt Hon Sir Francis Oswald Lindley (1872-1950), by his wife the former Hon Etheldreda Fraser (1872-1949), dau of the 13th Lord Lovat (1828-87), by his wife nee Weld-Blundell, of that LG family. Of her siblings, Sarah was wife of the 9th Earl of Hardwicke, and Alice was wife of Sir Oscar Morland, and Bridget married Sir John McEwen, 1st Bart. She married Sir Wm, and leaves issue, viz:-(i) Henry Neville Lindley Keswick, b 1938, married 1985, his kinswoman, the Hon. Annabel Teresa Fraser, b 1957, d. of the 15th Lord Lovat; and (ii) Sir John Chippendale (Chips) Keswick, b 1940, who married 1966, Lady Sarah Ramsay, b 1945, d. of the 16th Earl of Dalhousie, KT, sometime Lord Chamberlain to Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother; and (iii) Simon Lindley Keswick, b 1942, married 1971, Emma Bridget Chetwode, b 1950, d. of Maj. (George) David Chetwode, MBE, & (iv) Teresa. Family funeral in Scotland.
